Usually, a patchy base presents a tough technical challenge. It holds overlapping bands of old pigment. However, we did not view this as a problem. Instead, we used this faded history as a stepping stone. We prepared the hair for extreme, deliberate saturation.
The Double Process Execution
Erasing a complex color history takes serious precision. First, our team performed a detailed Double Process Creative Color service. To start, we carefully isolated the specific horizontal sections for the rainbow peekaboo. Next, we gently cleansed the old colors from the remaining hair. We lifted the uneven bands to create a clean, predictable slate. Ultimately, this careful bleaching stage protected the hair’s structural integrity.
Magenta and the Hidden Spectrum
After prepping the canvas, we applied the final pigments. The color selection completely rejects natural aesthetics.
